This is to assign a contractor, after the client signs the new housing loan with the Establishment. This requires to open a new project and assessment of the project through plans, technical requirements study and cost evaluation of area (sq ft). And studying the contractors' project assessment as well as quantity and percentage of allocation on works list in compliance with architectural standards.

Open a new project file
Upon logging into the e-Services Portal, the contractor will be redirected to the Dashboard which contains the Services widget.
Image Modified Click on the information icon on top of the desired service to view the service card with all details about service (eligibility criteria and required documents to the service).
Step1:
Select the service Open New Project File in the section Services
Thus, the screen displays the list of projects assigned to the contractor.
In the case of Loan
To open a file for the loan application follow the simple steps listed below.
Step1:
Select the desired loan application from the list of loans and grants and click on Modify
Upon clicking Modify, the screen displays information about the project.
Scroll down to enter the payment breakdown in percentage to reach a total of 100%.
Step2:
Click on Modify to enter contract percentage & comments.
Step3:
Enter the contract percentage & comments (if required) and click on Save and Close to save the values of each work item.
Total percentage accounts the percentage entered in each row until it reaches 100%
Image Modified User can view the remarks entered by the engineer only if the open file request is returned to the contractor with feedback/ comments
Image Modified Click on View Summary And Print BOQ button to preview the BOQ entered, as displayed below:
Image Modified User can print the BOQ by clicking on Print
Step4:
Click on Next button to navigate to Owner scope breakdown
The contractor can enter the value of owner scope for the project by clicking on Modify in each work item
The contractor has an option to add work descriptions and estimated values to owner scope breakdown against the extra four work items available
The contractor can add new work items by clicking on Add button when he/she have got more work items to add to the owner scope breakdown
Contractor can clear the information entered against the default work items in the breakdown, moreover; can delete the newly added work items
Step5:
Click on Next button to upload the documents
Step6:
Click on Add button and upload the documents required
Click on View/Modify button to display or remove the document attached
Step7:
Click on Finish
Upon clicking Finish, the details will be sent to MBRHE Engineering Provision Dept. for approval.
In the case of Grant
Follow the steps as same as that while applying for the loan where the only difference is the user need not enter the payment breakdown as one BOQ is possessing 100%.
Upon clicking Open New Project File in the dashboard, the screen displays the loan & grant applications.
Step1:
Select the desired grant application from the list of loans & grants and click on Modify
Upon clicking Modify, the screen displays the project information.
Step2:
Verify the project information.
Step3:
Click on Modify to enter contract the percentage & comments.
Step4:
Enter the contract percentage & comments (ifrequired) and click on Save and Close to save the values of each work item.
Total Percentage accounts the percentage entered in each row until it reaches 100%
